When the echo of our alphorns returns, it fills us with joy and contentment. It's a wonderful feeling to send the sounds out into nature and hear the harmonious reverberation. In these moments, we feel the power of the alphorn and the joy it brings us.
Dear friends of the Magden Alphorn Group, we are pleased to announce that starting in April, weather permitting, we will once again be holding our rehearsals outdoors at the hunting lodge in Magden. Rehearsals begin at 6:30 p.m. and will focus on the alphorn piece we will perform at the Northwest Swiss Yodeling Festival in Reigoldswil on the weekend of June 13, 2026. Here are some important dates to note: - May 11 and October 5: We will be playing the alphorn at Wildenstein Castle. - May 18: Participation in the central course in Frick. - June 7: Participation in the Brienz Rothornbahn season opening. - June 13 to 15: Yodeling Festival in Reigoldswil, where we will demonstrate our skills. - July 31 and August 1: Performances at various locations, including Zeinigen, the Pratteln retirement home, Frenkendorf, Magden, and Sissach. A special highlight will be the accepted invitation to Moleson on August 31 and November 2. As you can see, we are very active and look forward to the upcoming events and the time together. We cordially invite everyone interested to join us at our rehearsals and performances! With musical greetings, Your Magden Alphorn Group
